This is SPARTA!

ELITE MEN'S PODIUM

This photo will be used on the mentally tough days. Imprinting positive images upon your subconscious brain raises your opinion of yourself. Positive self-talk is instilled: "This is like me (to succeed)". You get to choose what your "dominant picture" is, depending on your self-talk. If your self-talk is negative: "I am no good, not worthy", then you will imprint this opinion upon your subconscious.

Your subconscious doesn't care what thoughts you store there (positive or negative self talk), its job is ensure you behave and act the way you know yourself to be. So my advice to you is find a challenge to overcome that means a lot to you. Prove to yourself you are capable, smart and you can do anything you choose. Do not stop until you succeed. Then remember the emotion associated with your experience. Use that imagery and emotion to help you become the best you can be.

The road sign below operates as a personal metaphor of the training process. The "Road Less Traveled" must be taken to succeed in your endeavors. This road is located just west of Port Stanley. The name evokes imagery of courage, bravery and teamwork in the name of something you deeply believe in. In this case, the film "300" illustrated the journey of Leonitis. He led his 300 elite men into battle to fight for the women and children of Sparta, Greece.

Personally, I know of 3 people (of thousands) who possess the rare characteristics of fortitude, courage and integrity to fit this mold. Blood, sweat and tears are the price of entry into finding a way to be your best: "This is SPARTA!"
