Past running
- Former triathlete and kayaker since 1998, ran 30-60k / wk off and on (to summer of ’06)
- Easter ’07 to Canada Day ’08: begin to run for fitness and loving it, mostly alone in Windsor – indoor 800m 2:03, 5k – 16:30 and 21.1k 1:18:03 Detroit
- July 1 – Aug 15, 2008 – No running, except 2x/wk 30m. Train for kayak marathon (finished 6th in the USA- 25k flatwater, Bristol, IN)
- Aug 16, 2008 – Nov.1, 2008 : train for 1/2m and run 1:16:32 Hamilton (11wks training, 3:38pace, v.happy)
