Nutritional Psychology & Personal Success

Nutritional Psychology - Find Personal Success
  • As a personal trainer or health professional, you may find eating habits to be your major battle; clients and yourself!
  • Low self-esteem people hold a low opinion of themselves, usually fronted by a protective facade, an illusion of control. These people may not accept the challenge of eating well and may use defense mechanisms: “You are extreme; I am sensible”.
  • However, if you can raise their/your expectations (eating well) the belief (confidence) will follow. Self-talk may be employed: "this is like me (to eat well)", then you/they will self-regulate at your/their new belief level. The subconscious brain will ensure you go out and act the way you know yourself to be.
Do you respect yourself? Your client?
  • Prove to yourself you can eat well to raise your opinion of yourself; you deserve a cancer-free, vibrant, long-lasting life! See my curriculum for proof!
  • Some professionals have all the knowledge but can’t actualize its benefits (E.g.: obese doctors). This is disappointing because health professionals (and well educated people) have a responsibility to encourage the pursuit of excellence (health). Learning is contingent upon using knowledge to change behaviour. Do you really want to trust a doctor (or any health professional) that doesn't respect themselves?
  • Conditioning may prevent you (or your client) from respecting yourself enough to use the powerful information to change your (or a client's) behaviour. Reflect upon your (or a client's) past to examine why poor decisions are made? Maybe some attitudes have been borrowed from role models that are no longer serving you (or your client) well, preventing goal achievement.
Be a Quiet Renegade
  • Eating well is a form of self-respect (along with exercise). Not everyone is ready (to respect themselves), so you can role-model self-respect in your habits.
  • Do not let anyone (including yourself) bully you into lowering your expectations of yourself (STAY STRONG). Surround yourself with positive, constructive, like-minded people in the pursuit of excellence daily.
  • Take on new obstacles and challenges to prove to yourself anything is possible if you are driven in the relentless pursuit of your goals. Your subconscious needs proof you can accomplish what you want, so give it proof! Efficacy is not manifested until the subconscious communicates to the conscious brain you are ready to take on any challenge in life.
  • Eating well may be your new secret to personal satisfaction, success and happiness!
